Independent Living Facilities: Residential facilities, apartments and/or planned communities for older adults, people with disabilities or other populations designed to enable those who are eligible to have a form of independent living in a secure environment. Independent Living Skills: Programs that assist people who have disabilities to learn the basic skills of daily living through of individual and group counseling and instruction, experience and practice in coping with real or simulated life situational demands.
