Offers program information, resources, and education to improve the health of families. Maternal health, infant, child and adolescent health, breastfeeding and safe sleep, children with special needs, perinatal and post-natal depression, and life course information available.

Classes/counseling, lectures, and screenings including nutrition, smoking cessation, child birth preparation, and breast feeding.

Must be receiving SNAP assistance or be SNAP-eligible.

Cooking Matters is a six-week nutrition education program that includes healthy cooking demonstrations, information on creating nutritious meals on a budget, tips on menu planning, and more. Coking Matters also helps students learn about quick and easy physical activities to get more active in everyday life. Educational gifts are offered each session.

Focuses on the health and well-being of pregnant women and infants and decreasing infant mortality to promote healthy pregnancies, positive birth outcomes and healthy infant growth and development.

Offers a variety of different services and activities for those with or looking to prevent diabetes. Activities in the program include one on one nutrition counseling, exercise classes such as Yoga or Zumba, diabetes education group sessions including community gardening and self management classes.

Promotes the health and well-being of people with Down syndrome and their families through evidence-based care, innovative research opportunities, and collaborative educational experiences.

A six week peer to peer class led by family caregivers that teaches participants how to practice self care and to identify helpful resources for managing the stress of caregiving. Due to COVID-19 all programs are now virtual. This session is now also being provided fully in Spanish (Herramientas Poderosas Para Cuidadores). Provides "QPR" (Question, Persuade and Refer) suicide prevention training to raise awareness about suicide as a problem in our community, identifies the most common causes of suicidal thinking, feeling and actions, and teaches the trainee three simple skills to help prevent the unnecessary tragedy of suicide. The program is available in Spanish.

A gatekeeper is anyone who is in a position to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and because of their training, knows what to do.

Training includes a QPR booklet for each participant, an expanded list of warning signs, and an expanded list of local resources. ( Fees are negotiated through QPR Institute.)

We also provide training for mental health professionals in suicide assessment and management and triage training programs for crisis lines and other first responders.
