Individuals experiencing crisis in Lyon County

The MOST team is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Human Services Case Manager and a Behavioral Health Peace Office. MOST meets with individuals in the community who are experiencing a mental, emotional, substance or suicidal crisis. MOST assists individuals in crisis with connecting to and accessing community services and supports to reduce or eliminate barriers causing crisis and provides case management and follow up supports. Caregivers

Provides six-week long class to all informal caregivers of any age who care for adults age 60 and older, and/or grandparents or other relatives, age 55 or older, caring for a child, age 18 or younger.

Adults 18-59, Lyon County Residents

Program provides case management services and supports for individuals who are interested in buying a home, gaining housing independence, at-risk of homelessness or are experiencing homelessness. Other services include identifying and assisting with reducing or eliminating barriers preventing housing stabilization, increasing access to community resources and supports, and interactive goal planning to increase long term individual and family housing stabilization.

Families with children under 5 years old

Support positive parenting, develop nurturing homes and promote healthy child development through regular home visits by trained parent educators.
