Homelessness Prevention: Catholic Charities facilitates the Motels to Home program and is the match maker for the Federal CoC housing program. We also offer rental assistance designed to prevent homelessness. All individuals seeking housing assistance must complete a screening assessment. Benefit Enrollment Center: Connecting Medicare beneficiaries with limited incomes to these core benefits:

  • Medicare Part D
  • Extra Help/Low-Income Subsidy (LIS)
  • Medicare Savings Programs
  • Medicaid
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP – when FBNN rep is on-site)
  • Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program

We can also help seniors and younger adults with disabilities to apply for other programs, such as Supplemental Security Income, State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs, local transportation assistance, tax relief, and more. ID's, Hygiene Items/Diapers, Clothing Vouchers and Bus Passes. Please stop in during walk-in hours from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday through Friday. Housing Assistance and Birth Certificates: Motels to Homes and agency referrals please come by between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. If you are in need of a birth certificate an appointment is required.

This year’s Back-2-School Giveaway will be held on Saturday, August 10th at Craig Ranch Park from 11:00am-3:00pm. The Back-2-School Giveaway is designed to support the Las Vegas community to help prepare students, as we approach the upcoming school year, and provide a fun day for families while promoting literacy, implementing activities and games, entertainment, and resources that will benefit the entire family. In addition to each student receiving a backpack with grade appropriate school supplies and a book, the event will also feature raffles, complimentary eye exams provided by Eye Care 4 Kids mobile services, a live DJ, arts and crafts activities, games such as life-size Jenga and Connect Four, and a chance to win prizes by participating in a relay race! Students in grades 5-12 are encouraged to bring their local library card for a chance to win a brand-new laptop and printer.
