Individuals must be without shelter for the night they apply and meet income guidelines, as well as other FISH policies. *Serves counties: Lyon, Storey, Douglas, Carson City

Services Provided: Operates two shelters, one for men and one for women and families. Length of stay can be up to 90 days for the first admittance and 30 days for returning residents. There is a minimum of 12 months between stays at each shelter. Eligibility is evaluated and determined at the time of application per FISH policies.<br /><em>**Due to the pandemic our hours at our Carson City Location (138 E. Eligibility: No fee. Child must be under 18 years of age to be registered.
Services Provided: Child Find of America brings missing children home. Prevents child abduction and locates missing children through investigation, photo distribution, mediation and public information, at no fee.
A location service for missing, abducted or runaway children. Will take siting phone calls. They will mediate child custody cases when a parent has abducted the children. Prevention and other materials are available at no charge.
If parental abduction, they need certified copies of the custody papers, a notarized registration form and a picture of the missing children.
