Washoe County School District's Students Support Services will identify, evaluate and provide appropriate services for any Washoe County child between the ages of 3-21 years.

Offers referrals for basic needs such as: food, utility, medical/dental/mental health services, shelter/housing, and employment assistance. Assistance with applications such as SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, Energy Assistance, and other programs. Ongoing support based on the needs of the family.

Parents with children ages 6 to 18.

Provides parenting skills classes to reduce family conflict and children’s aggressive/disruptive behaviors, improve parenting skills, enhance family communication, develop mutual support, and increase parental supervision and appropriate discipline. <em>**Our centers are currently closed but we are working remotely to serve clients via phone and email to connect people with resources and help with online applications for SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF. Clients should be prepared to answer a call from an unknown number should we return the call from a private number.</em>

Transportation assistance when available.</p>

Parents with children ages 6 to 18.

Adult 18 and older.

Offers programs which can lead to receiving an adult school diploma.
