Trained and certified Lions Club members hold vision screenings at health fairs, as well as at the facilities of businesses and other nonprofit organizations.

Lions optometrists and ophthalmologists provide eye examinations, eyeglasses, eye surgeries to persons who are uninsured or under-insured who are referred by nonprofit and faith-based organizations, government agencies, schools, by the general public, and are qualified under income eligibility requirements.
