Low to moderate income living in Humboldt County

Provides USDA commodity food program for all in need living in Humboldt County. TFAP (Temporary Food Assistance Program) is provided the 3rd Friday every month at the Frontier Community Action Agency, Drive Thru at this time only. Seniors 60 and older 12pm-1pm everyone else 1pm-3pm.

Assistance in completing all documentation needed in applying for Medicaid and SNAP.

All can apply, certain programs are based on income

Offers application assistance with low income housing, birth certificates, social security cards and disability, financial literacy training, and case management.

Unemployed

Employment assistance including but limited to: resume building, job searching, referrals to job connect, vocational training, interviewing, and financial literacy.

Offers suicide prevention and awareness support through workshops and annual walk.

Low to Moderate Income

In partnership with the IRS free tax preparation assistance offered to all individuals and families low to moderate income.

Children 18 and younger. Agreement from parents for children to participate in program. Low to moderate income.

Children 21 and under. Low to moderate income

Offers mobile dental care for children services include: exams, cleanings, x-rays, filings, and other oral health education.

All whom have lost a loved one.

Provides grief support group for children, teens, and adults. Helps families cope with the death of a loved one through age appropriate activities.
