The goal is to empower people with an awareness of their healthcare and to enable them to take control of their wellness.

Two evidence-based programs that teach youth about making healthy life decisions. They are both proven effective in reducing the risk of sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and teen pregnancy. Available for implementation in six northern Nevada counties. These programs incorporate medically accurate information along with crucial knowledge on identifying and handling social pressures. Youth learn about reproductive health, puberty, hygiene, personal responsibility, independence, communication, avoiding risky behaviors, respect for self and others, build knowledge and confidence, and more.

Age 16 and older.

Youth ages 13 to 18 years old.

Range of services including pap smear, breast exam, birth control counseling and options, emergency contraception, reproductive health counseling, pregnancy testing, STD testing/treatment, basic infertility evaluations.

Provides essential public health and nursing services, including: immunizations, HIV/AIDS services, school health services, well-child services, breast and cervical cancer screenings, dental health, sexually transmitted disease prevention and treatment, and reproductive health/family planning services for both men and women.

Diagnosed with HIV.

Offers confidential program that helps people HIV develop a plan to notify sex or needle partners about possible exposure; education on disease transmission and prevention; assist with eligibility for Ryan White program and linkage to HIV provider; offers nurse case management and HIV provider visits for up to six months.

Provides clients with HIV and Hepatitis C testing as well as early intervention services for those who may be positive.

Teens ages 10 through 19.

Provides teens with knowledge, motivation, and skills to reduce their risk of contracting HIV and sexually transmitted infections, and prevent unplanned pregnancies. Also provides classes to teach parents how to talk to their teens about sex.

Provides no cost comprehensive sexual health services including HIV testing, STI testing and treatment prevention services, PrEP and PEP Services (pre and post exposure medication), sexual health education. Infectious disease for HIV care, and hepatitis C. Also provides Ryan White Part C Services including behavioral health and telehealth.
