Provides service dog training upon passing the temperament test. A 18-24 month program that covers basic-advanced levels of obedience, public access skills, and skills specific to need.

Provides Service Dogs to children worldwide. Enriches the lives of children with disabilities by training and placing quality, task-trained service dogs. Provides increased independence for the children, and assistance to their families.

No charge for services.

Provides service and companion dogs to people who have mobility difficulties, type I diabetes, epilepsy, and other medical needs. Provides a Disabilities Awareness Education Program and K-9 Kids Reading Program for school-age children as well as Animal Assisted Therapy services.

A nonprofit helping children who face social, emotional or educational challenges with the help of animal assisted therapy, school visits and assistance dog placements. Serves children whose challenges range from autism to serious medical conditions to grief over the loss of a parent.

Trains and places monkey helpers to provide daily, in-home assistance to people living with spinal cord injuries or other mobility impairments. Services free of charge to recipients across the nation.

Children and adults with special needs

Raises and trains dogs to assist children and adults with special needs. Provides pups free of charge to qualified special needs persons and donates to other nonprofit service dog schools.

Provides reliable and affordable service dogs for autism assistance, mobility, seizures, hearing and more.  

Prepares and places fully trained dogs with approved disabled recipients.

It costs over $38,000 to train and place a Service Dog. Involvement in fundraising is voluntary. No out-of-pocket costs for recipients.

Provides individuals and families that are challenged by diabetes with service dogs.  Diabetic Alert Dogs are trained to alert diabetic handlers in advance of low (hypoglycemia) or high (hyperglycemia) blood sugar events before they become dangerous.

 An on-line inquiry form must be completed.

Helps disabled children and adults achieve greater safety and independence through partnership with a highly trained service dog. No charge to the recipient for a service dog, other than a small application fee.

Child under the age of 18 years at time of placement with their service dog. Must have a physical disability, psychological disability, or on the autism spectrum; be enrolled in a qualified training program prior to applying and complete an application.

Provides service dog scholarships for children with special health care needs. 

Application, background check, and interview process. Wait times is 3-4 years.  No fee for trained dogs.

Provides full public access service dogs for the following:

• Individuals with mobility challenges from muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries and other issues
• Veterans and active-duty military to mitigate service-related physical injuries, as well as post-traumatic stress (PTS) and/or traumatic brain injury
• Children and teens between the ages of 5 and 18 on the autism spectrum or with other neurocognitive disabilities

Enhances the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities nationally through custom-trained Assistance Dogs. Increases awareness of the rights and roles of Assistance Dog Teams through education and advocacy.

Trains and places Assistance Dogs with individuals who experience deafness; with children who are on the autism spectrum; and with professionals such as teachers, physicians, and licensed therapists whose students and clients can benefit from the dogs’ calming presence.

Satellite offices are currently located in California, Washington State, Arizona, and New Hampshire.

People with physical or developmental disabilities, adults who are Deaf or hard of hearing, as well as professionals working in health care, visitation, educational or criminal justice settings who can demonstrate that a service dog will enhance their independence or their quality of life.

Trains service dogs for adults, children and veterans and facility dogs who work with professional in a visitation, education or healthcare setting. Training facility locations throughout the US.

Individuals who are blind or low vision from throughout the United States and Canada

Services Include:

• Provide information and education to the general public and allied professionals about Guide Dogs for the Blind's mission and services
• Provide information to those who might have need of our services
  Assist those who wish to apply for a guide dog
• Solicit volunteers to support GDB programs, including puppy raisers
• Solicit contributions to support our programs and services.

All services provided free of charge, including personalized training and extensive post-graduation support, but plus financial assistance for veterinary care, if needed.
