Social: Organizations that provide an opportunity for individuals with disabilities to meet and socialize with others through dances, parties, picnics, barbecues, events for children and other companionable activities. Sports: Programs that provide opportunities for people of all ages with functional or cognitive disabilities to learn, become competitive in and enjoy a wide variety of recreational activities and sports, many of which are played in wheelchairs or have otherwise been modified to accommodate the athletes' disabilities. Services Provided: The N4 Community Care program supports people with disabilities, older adults, and their families by providing in-home and community-focused services that increase engagement by using a person/family-centered approach to care planning.  Types of services include respite for family care partners, personal care, home management, healthcare support, transportation, social, leisure, and recreational activities.  Opportunities for civic engagement and self-advocacy, educational opportunities for people and their family members, and accessing community resources.

Services Provided: Young Life is a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school and college-aged kids in all 50 states.

Some Young Life areas have dedicated programs for students and young adults with disabilities, typically referred to as Young Life Capernaum. Young Life Capernaum gives young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp and other exciting activities.
