Eligibility: Henderson resident’s ages 14-24 years’ old whom have life-barriers impeding on their success in the workforce and/or academia. Barriers include the following:
Services Provided: Career coaches work directly with each participant through one-on-one case management and place an emphasis on mentorship. Monitors goal progression, job placement or retention, as well as academic success through daily, weekly, or bi-weekly contacts. Assists with financial burdens related to employment and returning to school. Service may include tuition, rent, utilities, work related cards, bus passes, school supplies, and work clothing. Mentorship is 18 months to 2 years long.
