Dr. Nguyen received her medical degree from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, and completed her Pediatric Residency at the Tufts Floating Hospital for Children in Boston, MA. She stayed on as Chief Resident of her class. Afterwards, she worked in general pediatrics in the Pacific Northwest before joining the University of Utah. She is board-certified in General Pediatrics.

She is currently working both at General Pediatrics Clinic 6 at the University Hospital as well as the Child Development Program at the University Developmental Center. Her specific clinical interests are in work with vulnerable populations, including developmental disorders, typical child development, and relational health.
